Ring Sizer Privacy Policy

Ring Sizer is provided by Marwan Akhandaf. This notice explains how this Android app handles your information. Contact akhandafm17@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests.

Measurements and your collection

Your measurements, saved ring sizes, favourites and notes are stored on your device. Camera measurement photos are analysed on your device. We do not upload these records or measurement photos to our server. Android may back up your saved collection and preferences according to your device's backup settings. AI input photos, results and private device verification keys are excluded from the app's cloud backup rules.

Optional AI ring previews

When you select photos, agree to AI processing and tap Generate, the app sends the selected hand photo and selected ring photo or catalogue ring reference to our Ring Sizer service hosted by Cloudflare. We use Replicate to run the Google image model that creates the preview. Those providers process the selected photos to fulfil your request. Photo metadata, including embedded location metadata, is removed before upload. The app does not scan your photo library. You can use the measuring tools without using AI previews.

Our service retains request status and the result link for approximately 45 minutes so the same request can be retried without generating a duplicate. Replicate states that API prediction inputs, outputs and logs are removed after one hour by default. See Replicate's retention documentation and privacy notice. Stopping your wait does not necessarily stop processing already underway. Downloaded photos and previews remain in the app until you remove them or clear its data; files you save or share outside the app are controlled by you and the destination you choose.

Purchases and app security

Google Play processes subscription payments. RevenueCat receives purchase history, purchase tokens, an anonymous app user identifier and technical app information to validate purchases, restore access and manage subscriptions. We do not receive your payment card number. Purchase and entitlement records are retained to provide purchased access, support and applicable accounting obligations. Google Play Integrity verifies the app, its Play licence and device integrity for AI requests. Our service receives verification results and a pseudonymous installation identifier derived from an app-generated public key. It retains registration and usage counters to prevent abuse and enforce the preview allowance. The private signing key remains in Android Keystore. Cloudflare processes network information, including your IP address, for delivery, security and rate limiting. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Optional usage analytics

If you allow analytics, AppMetricsKit receives app interactions, purchase activity and technical diagnostics, such as app version and device information, to help us understand and improve the app. Analytics does not include your photos, measurements, notes or contact details. You can refuse this collection during onboarding or turn it off in Settings. Turning it off stops new analytics and clears the app's pending analytics queue. It does not automatically erase events already delivered. We retain delivered information only for the purposes described here or applicable legal requirements; contact us to request deletion.

Your choices and deletion requests

No account registration is required. Delete saved measurements in your collection, remove selected AI photos in the preview screen, or clear Ring Sizer's app data in Android Settings to remove local data. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a Google Play subscription; manage or cancel it in Google Play.

To request access, correction or deletion of information held by our services, email akhandafm17@gmail.com with “Ring Sizer privacy request”. Include only information needed to locate the record, such as a purchase order reference or an AI request reference. Do not send passwords, payment card details or photos. We may ask for proportionate verification. We will explain any records that must be retained for legal obligations or fraud prevention.

Security and other privacy rights

The app uses HTTPS for transmitted data. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Service providers may process information outside your country. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, obtain a copy of your information or complain to a data protection authority. The app is intended for adults. We update this notice when relevant practices change and show the revision date above.
